Thirdly you are put back in control In 1992 a large research project into "stop smoking methods" was undertaken at the University of Iowa. Reported in The New Scientist, it was claimed that using hypnosis to stop smoking was the MOST effective way to give up. A new study by Professor Green at the University of Ohio has also confirmed the success of stop smoking hypnosis. Also research results which have been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, and include 48 studies of hypnosis covering 6000 smokers, clearly show that hypnosis is three times more effective than nicotine replacement therapy.
